Las peores noticias - Worst news

This year my dad received the worst news: he had prostate cancer at a stage the doctors said he needed proper intervention as soon as possible to prevent it from growing and extending to other parts. He was VERY lucky, and after a lot of ups and downs, doctor's appointments, tests and more tests, he got the best help and medical and personal support possible.

My family and I are very thankful, cause he was in very good hands, and now he (and everyone at home) can be stress free and we can talk about something else at family lunches, and truly enjoy our family time ALL together. This is priceless!

But we know that sadly not everyone is this lucky...

We all know someone who has or has had cancer, but it doesn't feel the same until it hits home, and it's now someone you love who is at risk. But it can happen...at any time! Even to those who don't smoke, eat healthy, do exercise every day and try to keep a stress free life, like my dad.
